Due to injury, I have had many obstacles in returning to sprinting. So, to help me be more resilient I continually make a conscious effort to surround myself with positivity. To do this I choose inspirational sports movies or documentaries as much as possible. I always find that it gives me an uplifting feeling and enables me to believe in myself again/even more. The great thing about movies is that you can multi-task (e.g. do stretching or trigger point), just sit and watch (e.g. when injured or resting and relaxing). This is especially relevant for any competitive athletes out there. My favourite movies are definitely running/track and field related, however I do enjoy dabbling in crossfit movies as well.
